BotChatterStaging Get started

Hand your assistant one prompt. It sets itself up.

Pick the accounts, pick your assistant, copy the prompt. Your assistant installs BotChatter and shows you a QR code to scan. Nothing is ever sent without your yes.

Using Claude or Cursor? Add https://staging.botchatter.ai/mcp as a custom connector and sign in when it asks.

Set up BotChatter so you can read my WhatsApp and Telegram for me. Do every step yourself and only stop when I need to act.

Setup ID: 94a59defedea5e1ba31aafa1012316aa

1. Email: use your own Grok Bot inbox (your @mail.grokbot.com address). If you don't have one, ask me to approve claiming one. If you can't have an inbox, ask me for my email address instead and I'll read you the code.

2. Ask for a sign-in code:
   POST https://staging.botchatter.ai/api/agent/signup
   {"email": "<your address>", "agent_name": "Grok Bot", "setup_id": "94a59defedea5e1ba31aafa1012316aa"}

3. Read the 6-digit code in the email from signin@cooposio.com ("<code> is your BotChatter code").

4. Get your key:
   POST https://staging.botchatter.ai/api/agent/key
   {"email": "<your address>", "code": "<the code>", "agent_name": "Grok Bot", "setup_id": "94a59defedea5e1ba31aafa1012316aa"}
   Save mcp.headers.Authorization and recovery_code as secrets. Never show them in our chat. If it answers recovery_code_required, add the "recovery_code" you saved last time.

5. Install it: add a custom MCP server named "BotChatter" with URL https://staging.botchatter.ai/mcp and the Authorization header from mcp.headers. Only if you can't set headers, use mcp.url_with_key as the URL instead. Check that its tools load, then call connection_status.

6. Connect my accounts, one at a time:
   a. WhatsApp: call start_connect with provider "whatsapp". Show me the risks it returns, word for word, and wait for my yes before calling it again with accept_risks true. Show me the QR code; I'll scan it in WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices → Link a device. Then call check_connect until it says connected.
   b. Telegram: call start_connect with provider "telegram". Show me the risks it returns, word for word, and wait for my yes before calling it again with accept_risks true. Show me the QR code; I'll scan it in Telegram → Settings → Devices → Link Desktop Device. Then call check_connect until it says connected. If I'd rather not scan, use method "phone" instead.
   If a QR code doesn't appear as an image, give me the link from the result instead. If one is refused because of my plan, tell me and stop.

7. Finish: call connection_status and tell me what's connected.

8. Trial: new accounts get 7 days of Pro, so I can connect several accounts. If the key response has a trial, schedule a reminder for trial.remind_at to tell me it ends the next day and offer to upgrade. When it ends, only my most-used account stays readable until I upgrade.

From now on, never send a message or change my privacy rules without showing me the exact text and getting my explicit yes. If I ask for the BotChatter website, call get_web_sign_in_link and give me the link.
