Wired up in three moves.
Pick what your assistant should read and which assistant sets it up. Copy the prompt, paste it, scan the QR code it shows you. That's the whole setup.
- Grok Bot can sign up with its own inbox, so you type nothing.
- Or use your own email and keep the dashboard for hidden chats, activity and billing.
- Dots in ChatGPT use the app you add once.
Built for the day after the trade show.
Two hundred unread chats, three of them deals. Ask the way you'd ask an assistant who read your phone.
- Catch up across every number you connected.
- Search months of chats in one question.
- Drafts wait for your yes before anything is sent.
What did I miss while I was flying?
Three chats need you:
- Dana, Harbor Freight WhatsApp, sales wants the 40 units confirmed for Friday.
- Ops group Telegram says invoice 2207 is still unpaid.
- Priya WhatsApp, personal asks if the demo is still on.

The orange key is yours. Only yours.
Your bot drafts. You see the exact text and the chat it goes to, and nothing is sent until you approve it. Then it goes out once, exactly as shown, and lands in your activity log.
- Unanswered requests expire and are never sent.
- Reading never marks messages as read.
- Privacy changes need your yes too.

What BotChatter can and can’t do.
You are handing over your messaging accounts, so here it is plainly.
| Can | |
|---|---|
| Read your chats | Recent messages, and photos and files when you ask. |
| Search | Across the accounts you connect. Hidden chats are left out. |
| Catch you up | On what you missed, chat by chat, and who mentioned you. |
| Draft replies | Shown to you first. Nothing goes out on its own. |
| Only with your approval | |
| Send a reply | You approve the exact text and chat in your assistant. It is sent once, exactly as shown. |
| Change privacy rules | Assistants can suggest a rule. You decide. |
| Never | |
| Send without your approval | Every send waits for you. Unanswered requests expire and are never sent. |
| Mark messages as read | No read marks on Telegram, no read receipts on WhatsApp. |
| Sell or train on your data | We don’t sell it, use it for ads or train models on it. |
| Keep your key | Only you and the AI apps you connect can unlock your data. |

A key we don’t keep
Your messages, contacts and connection credentials are encrypted with a key that only you, and the AI apps you connect, can unlock. We don't keep that key. While a request is being served, the key and the data it needs are in our servers' memory; then they are dropped. Photos and files are fetched when asked for and never stored.
Hidden chats stay hidden
Hide any chat and it is invisible to every connected assistant. Or switch to allowlist mode, where assistants see only the chats you mark visible.
Your bot's key opens one account
The key your bot keeps opens only the account it set up, and it can't send without your yes. Reset your encryption key and every bot key stops working.
Open, and plainly hosted
The plugin is open source under the MIT licence. The service runs on Cloudflare and payments go through Stripe. We don't sell data, use it for ads, or train models on it.

What does Grok Bot do with the prompt?
It follows the steps in it, out loud. It asks for a sign-in code at its own @mail.grokbot.com inbox, exchanges that code for a BotChatter key, adds BotChatter as a custom MCP server with that key, and calls the connect tool for each account you ticked. You see each step in the chat and on the setup page, and you only act twice: you agree to the risks and you scan the QR code.
Is the key safe with my bot?
The key opens only the BotChatter account your bot created, and it's stored as a secret in Grok Bot, never written in the chat. It can read your connected chats, but it can't send anything without your yes. If you reset the account's encryption key, every key stops working.
Which assistants does it work with?
Any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors, including Grok, Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. You add BotChatter once as a connector, sign in, and connect your accounts from the chat or from this website.
Can my assistant send messages without asking me?
No. Each reply is shown to you with the exact text and the chat it goes to, and it is sent once, only after you approve it. Every request is listed in your activity log. Sending approved replies is part of the paid plans, with no limit on how many.
Can BotChatter read my messages?
Your messages, contacts and connection credentials are encrypted with a key that only you, and the AI apps you connect, can unlock. We don't keep that key. While your assistant's request is being served, the key and the data it needs are in our servers' memory, and then they are dropped; they are not written anywhere readable. Photos and files are fetched when asked for and never stored.
Is this allowed by Telegram and WhatsApp?
Telegram and WhatsApp connect through unofficial clients, the way third-party apps do. These providers may restrict or ban accounts that use such clients. Connect only accounts you own, and decide whether that risk is acceptable for you. Instagram, X and Discord connect through their official APIs.
Can I keep some chats private?
Yes. Hide any chat and it becomes invisible to every connected assistant: left out of chat lists, searches, catch-ups and reads. Or switch to allowlist mode, where assistants see only the chats you mark visible.
Will the people I talk to see that I've read their messages?
No. Reading through BotChatter doesn't mark messages as read on Telegram, and never sends read receipts on WhatsApp. (WhatsApp itself sends delivery ticks to linked devices.)
How do I remove my data?
Disconnect an account at any time: its encryption key is deleted first, which makes everything stored for it unreadable, and then the data is deleted. To delete your BotChatter account entirely, sign in and use Delete account.
One prompt. One QR code. Then just ask.
Your clients already live in WhatsApp and Telegram. Now your assistant does too, and you still sign off every reply.
